Study and Class Rooms
The Hub features two class rooms which support credit-earning classes during the day, and workshops, hosted by The Hub and our partners, in the evening. We also provide group study rooms (huddle rooms), and smaller study rooms (phone booths), that can be reserved by students any time.
Design Lab
Our Design Lab provides high-end design computers with software for 3D and 2D design. Students can design their invention, and then send it to our 3D printers for prototyping. Or, develop virtual environment and objects, and experience them on our VR or AR headsets. We also have two Microsoft Surface Studio 2 workstations that function as the uptimate artist’s tablet.
Digital Fablab
Our Digital Fablab is home to over 40 FDM 3D printers to support prototyping and creative projects. It also features a Laser Cutter, Vinyl Cutter, and CNC machine. Our expert staff will show you how to get started! Submit print jobs online and use our reservation system to book time with our experts.
VR Lab
The Hub provides students with access to all the most popular VR and AR equipment: Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, HTC Vive, Microsoft Hololens, and more, along with a wide variety of software to experience. We support the development of VR and AR applications. Never tried VR or AR? Our staff will be happy to get your started!
Robotics and Electronics
Learn to build a robot with VEX, or program a drone to carry out a useful task. We also have Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards and kits to get you started on your first electronics project. Breadboards, capacitors, sensors, buttons, switches, LEDs, and soldering stations for the more advanced.
