Haven’t had the time to dig into ChatGPT? Here’s your opportunity!

Dr. Paul Marty from the School of Information will offer a hands-on workshop to provide FSU faculty with beginning skills in working with ChatGPT and prompt engineering. You’ll learn how ChatGPT “thinks,” and how to construct prompts in a manner that gets useful results. You’ll learn how useful ChatGPT can be in your day-to-day work, including its potential for assisting with teaching and research. You’ll also learn about the limitations of the technology, and the dangers it poses to the trustworthiness of online information.

This is not intended as an ethical discussion about student use of ChatGPT, but rather a practical hands-on tutorial on the best practices and use of ChatGPT for FSU faculty.
