Virtual and augmented reality are the next frontier in learning and teaching. Research has shown that immersive learning like VR and AR makes learning more interesting and motivating. It could even lead to higher recall and ability to apply the skills learned. FSU College of Education has been doing some cutting-edge VR development and research in this area. They had received a huge grant from the National Science Foundation to study teaching practices in virtual reality.
